Aurora Films and Performing Arts was honored to participate in the Lunar New Year Reception hosted by The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Toronto, celebrating the Year of the Horse in a vibrant gathering filled with distinguished dignitaries, community leaders, and friends. The festive evening highlighted cultural unity and goodwill, as guests enjoyed the performance and shared in the joy of welcoming the new year together.

On Saturday, February 21, Aurora Films and Performing Arts proudly presented a vibrant Chinese New Year charity performance at the Hawthorn Woods Community in Brampton, welcoming families and community members to celebrate the arrival of the Lunar New Year together.

Ahead of Chinese New Year, New Century Films brought a multigenerational cultural performance to a Toronto senior care center, sharing joy, gratitude, and community spirit on February 8.

On February 7, select actors from Aurora Films and Performing Arts visited the Ivan Franko Ukrainian Home in Toronto, presenting a joyful cultural performance for seniors and their families in celebration of the New Year.

Aurora Films and Performing Arts was honored to be invited to perform at MPP Andrea Hazell’s New Year Levee, an event filled with warmth, community spirit, and celebration. Our classical Chinese dance performance captivated the audience, leaving many in awe. Following the performance, numerous guests warmly requested photos with our actresses, creating joyful moments and meaningful cultural exchange throughout the evening.

The celebration brought together distinguished guests and community leaders, including Director-General Liang Yi-Pung of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Toronto, Member of Parliament The Honourable Judy Sgro, Member of Parliament Peter Fonseca, Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti, and Toronto City Councillor Lily Cheng.

As the new year begins, members New Century Films braved the heavy snow to continue their volunteer performances at a Delmanor Elgin Mills. The event was a great success! The audience thoroughly enjoyed the vibrant performances and delicate handmade little lotus flowers. 👏👏👏
